Andrew W. Maylor is a higher education executive and public sector leader with extensive experience in finance, operations, strategic planning, risk management, and organizational transformation. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Lasell University, where he oversees the university's financial operations, administrative functions, capital planning, and strategic initiatives. In this role, he is responsible for advancing institutional sustainability, operational excellence, and long-term strategic growth. Throughout his career, Maylor has developed a reputation for leading complex organizations through periods of change while aligning financial stewardship with mission-driven outcomes. His expertise spans budgeting and financial planning, facilities and campus operations, risk management, technology modernization, enrollment-related financial modeling, and institutional effectiveness. He has played a key leadership role in strategic initiatives involving campus infrastructure investments, administrative modernization, workforce development, and long-range financial planning. Prior to his leadership role at Lasell University, Maylor served in senior positions within higher education and public administration, including executive roles at Merrimack College, where he helped guide institutional operations and crisis response efforts. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions in state and municipal government, including serving as Massachusetts Comptroller and as Town Manager for North Andover, Massachusetts. These experiences provided a strong foundation in public finance, governance, emergency management, and organizational leadership. Over the course of his career, Maylor has successfully led major capital projects, implemented financial and operational improvements, strengthened organizational accountability, and supported strategic decision-making at the board and executive levels.
