PBAF25: Build a Sustainable Data Culture

Data is often an underused resource at colleges and universities, and beginning (or rebeginning) initiatives to build capacity for data use can feel daunting. In this session, you’ll explore a free resource that NACUBO developed, along with two other associations, that can help you start your data journey from where you are. Panelists will share how they’re using a playbook to assess their institutions’ data capabilities, build teams for analytics initiatives, improve data governance, and invest in the data skills of staff and faculty to build a sustainable data culture.

After the webinar ends, you will complete the following steps under the Content tab:

Pass the CPE codeword quiz. Write down the codewords posted in the Zoom chat at random times throughout the webinar and complete the quiz at the end of the webinar.
Submit the CPE check-out code displayed at the end of the webinar.
Download your CPE certificate.

Lindsay K. Wayt, Ph.D., is senior director of analytics at NACUBO. She works on initiatives and programming that support NACUBO’s efforts to help colleges and universities integrate the use of analytics to achieve institutional goals. This includes collaborating with NACUBO members and key stakeholders from other organizations to propel the use of data-informed decision-making in higher education. She has experience conducting higher education research, studying topics such as the use of data and analytics in higher education, tuition discounting, and higher education leadership. Wayt completed her doctoral work focused on educational leadership and higher education.
